In Memoriam of
MRS ANTHONY BUCHANAN (JANE DOCHERTY)
There passed away at Churchill on Wed,
July 31st, 1938, Mrs. Anthony Buchanan at the age 73 years.
The late Mrs Buchanan was a woman of sterling Christian principles,
a kind neighbor and a loving wife and mother. Her life was an active
one and she enjoyed a measured of good health until some months before
her decease.
When it become necessary for her to remain in bed on account
of ill health her thoughts were not about herself but of those who
so kindly and lovingly nursed her. She was indeed very cheerful and
happy and bore her somewhat long illness with Christian fortitude.
Her trust was in the Lord and his name did she meditate. The last
words that she spoke to him who ministered to her spiritual needs
were: :'I am just waiting for the Lord to call me home." These words
are indeed a comfort to all who mourn her passing.
